    Sweet Treats


    1 box yellow cake mix

    3- 21 oz cans cherry pie filling

    1 tsp almond extract

    1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Spray a 9 x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
    3. Pour all cans cherry pie filling into a mixing bowl.
    4. Add Almond extract and gently mix.
    5. Pour cherry pie filling into prepared baking dish.
    6. Sprinkle yellow cake mix evenly over cherry pie filling.
    7. Slice the butter into small pieces and sprinkle evenly over the top of the cake mix. Try to make it as even as possible.
    8. Bake for about 30 minutes until the fruit starts to bubble and the crust is brown.  It may take longer than 30 minutes so check frequently.
